Well, this is it. Game 7. Winner takes all. I am sitting here with my father, whom I also spent the evening with when Ray Bourque finaly hoisted Lord Stanley’s mug in what would be the last game of his career. It’s been a long road to this moment for the Bruins. It seems like … Continue reading

Why the Boston Bruins will win the Stanley Cup in 2011
The 2010-2011 edition of the Boston Bruins are a very powerful unit. They are also an extremely healthy squad with great coaching, and many guys with a lot of playoff experience. Those that may lack the experience of hockey in the spring in the big leagues, make up for it with their skillful play and patience with the puck. That’s why teams of course, bring in the experience of guys like Recchi. Not only can these seasoned veteran’s still compete with the young guys, they have strong leadership skills to make the transition from regular season play to post-season play, seem like any big game whether it be against an arch-rival, or for important points. Continue reading
The Road to Perfection
This story is broken down into two parts. Part I ‘The Road to Perfection’, takes place literally on the road to Boston. Part II Giving up on Perfection’, can be summed up by this quote from my story: “Regret is not the result of failure. It is a consequence of giving up. You will look back forever on what if, but you will one day find comfort in the defeat of giving it your all.”

I drove my friends car most … Continue reading
